You must have noticed the new Rainbow reaction on Facebook. Some people are using it and it’s actually called the “Pride” emoji.
This new emoji will be available throughout the month of June to support gay rights that homosexuals, lesbians and bi-sexuals celebrate as the month to support their way of life.
A Facebook rep had the following to say:
We believe in building a platform that supports all communities. So we’re celebrating love and diversity this Pride by giving you a special reaction.
However, in order to get access to this emoji, you’ll need to follow a small step. Only then will you have access to this emoji:
In case the image isn’t clear enough, here are the steps in text mode –
- Log into Facebook
- Like the LGBTQ@Facebook page
- You should now be able to react, whenever you want, with the rainbow flag!
